Author Reply: Hey, Golden! Good to hear from you. I wondered where you'd disappeared to. Haven't seen you on LJ or here in a while. Thanks for the review and I'm glad you enjoyed this one.
Have a very happy holiday season!

I'm sitting here quietly turning blue as I hold in my laughter--if I pass out it will be all your fault! (See, I'm learning something from Pippin: blame it on someone else!) Of course it's my own fault, I already knew how funny it was before I started re-reading at 5AM.

But I'm so glad you put it here--and I think your reason for the numbering makes perfect sense to me! Now you are at the round number of 60, which will be a good place to stop.

But you mustn't stop writing Merry and Pip stories. I suppose it's time to open up "Trust a Took and a Brandybuck II".

Author Reply: When I first read this I thought the thing you'd learned from Pippin had to do with the color blue, as in blue paint on the bench! LOL
Now I realize that you meant you'd learned to blame others. hehehe

I'm glad you see the reasoning. I sometimes do a bit of Pip logic on my own and then no one gets it. I really did think I was through posting to this group but this story just fits here and whatever else, I did want that one story as the ending one for obvious reasons.

Trust a Took and a Brandybuck II? Catchy title. I'll give that some thought...

Thanks for stopping by to read a second time.

"I’ve seen you do it when you were cold but I wouldn’t consider it a habit of yours. Is shivering a habit of yours as well?"

"I sit like this when I’m alone. You can’t have noticed it before now because when I’m alone, you aren’t there. And I am not shivering!"

ROTFL!!! Now, that's logical, indeed :-)

I enjoyed this conversation a great deal! Some comedians could learn a lot from those two.

There had to be a very good reason why Pippin was sitting on that splendid blue-painted, well-crafted, position-optimised, non-rickety walnut-bench for hours and hours conversing with the most fascinating people and without ANY beer ;-)

Thank you for making me laugh, G.W.!

Author Reply: So glad you enjoyed this. I had fun trying to do it all without anything other than dialogue. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing and most of all, for laughing. I just love that!
