Rhapsody's ramblings  by Rhapsody 1 Review(s)
BodkinReviewed Chapter: 13 on 5/6/2007
Poor Maglor. Tormented by that wretched stone and his father's obsession throughout all Arda.

He deserves some kind of redemption.

Author Reply: I know, I am so mean to Maglor, I really should start giving him something nice. Well I do occasionally give him redemption, just depending on the scenario. In my short story the Inner Light he does return home and I have a short story in the works that explores another version of his fate. But yes, he suffers the most from the Oath and the jewel. Sometimes I just wished the professor gave us other lines than: and thereafter he wandered ever upon the shores, singing in pain and regret beside the waves. For Maglor was mighty among the singers of old, named only after Daeron of Doriath; but he came never back among the people of the Elves.
