| Thought out of the box on that one didn't you? "pipers piping" I would have thought of music! I guess Legols was put on the spot! At least he didn't disgrace himself. All the little bits of advice and now from reading your other story I see how it ties in! Author Reply: Music did come to mind but I am terrible at writing stories that have music in them. Dreamflower did a musical story recently that she had suggested to me for this part of the challenge. Hers is just wonderful but I could never have managed it. Her story is called, "Pippin's Pak of Pickled Pipers" and if you haven't already, you should read that one. | I love how you had Pippin tell the story and then all the others commenting through out and Pippi always having to be reminded where he was! He had everyone in the story but Sam. Then the beginning of Merry's story and Pippin's response had me laughing before he even really began! Thanks for the laugh! Author Reply: Glad this one made you laugh. | Miss Rockheaver! Poor Freddy! You would think Merry could have just done it himself rather than involve and innocent bystander in his anticts! lol, Frodo now knowing what was goind on as well then for this "lass" to be his cousin! That was splendid! Merry trying to figure out how he can blame Pippin! Splendid! Author Reply: Merry figured that it was safer for himself this way. I suspect he didn't plan to get caught even if Freddy did get found out. Looks like Merry didn't plan this very well. I did feel sorry for Frodo. He was going to have to convince folks that he didn't know anything about this. Thank you for reading! | |

| I guess Merry certainly knows Pippin! But to bet his cousin would fall in! Poor Legolas was a bit to ignorant at this point in time, I'm sure he'll learn though! “I do not wish to discuss this,” the elf said, looking definitely at Aragorn and then continuing to walk up the hill and out of sight." I guess nothing was hurt but his dignity! Thanks for the laugh! Author Reply: Yes, Legolas had a great deal to learn about Pippin and the other hobbits at that point. I am sure this little adventure helped him to learn. LOL | |

| Poor Frodo! That was a rather mean trick to paly on an unsuspecting cousin! I liked the way you described each of the lasses and how they have formed this little group. At least they have plenty of company through each other and any other unsuspecting lad they might catch! What fun! Author Reply: I almost want to write a story using these old ladies again, but I have no idea what sort of a story it would be. Frodo got the worst of this one, but I am sure that he found a way to get even later on. | |

| Oh, you have me crying! So very sweet and touching! I liked the way you wrote out Ring Four and described Frodo's relationship and feeling for each of those within his ring. I like how some of your "rings" were more concrete then others, very well done! Author Reply: Thank you. I am very glad that it came off well. | Poor Pippin, it must be frustrating for him to try and call any birds like that. Frodo is such a wonderful older cousin and did a good job of comforting and be udnerstanding! Lovely!
