A great AU with a nice twist at the end,as I assumed you meant Aragorn to begin with!

Author Reply: Thank you, Linda. I was hoping it wouldn't be obvious until the end that this was Arwen's point of view.

Wow -- that's a different angle! Yet quite believable....

Author Reply: I'm very glad it rings true. Thank you.

Great heart shall not be denied, perhaps, save in this--that Arwen realized her own responsibility and proper place too late to save Frodo. And so it is in debt to him she feels? All are--too deeply in debt, perhaps, to ever fully repay all that is owed.

I love her here--but the same tale is never told the same twice by the proper Author of them all....

It's comforting to me to write or read stories in which it is realized (hopefully in time, as in this case) that this is so. It was challenging for me to imagine this small scene through a different point of view.

Wow! I never thought of it from that angle , that Arwen might be the one to take it because of what Luthien did, I really loved this little piece. Hugs The Imp

Author Reply: Thank you very much. It's such fun to look the same thing from many different points of view.
