| I don't usually review (I wish I were better about it), but I've read a number of your stories here on storiesofarda, and enjoyed them all. You're obviously a very good writer, so I'm going to assume you know that already. :) I love the style you write and how you can do the "angsty" stuff without going over the top, I'm sure it's a fine line. What made me actually buckle down and write a review this time is that this particular chapter struck a chord for me. I have a friend who's been dear to me since we were young children twenty years ago, and although she and I have been living in different parts of the country and the world for much of that time, we've managed to stay close. This chapter expresses very much how I feel for her (in the Frodo/Sam sense rather than the romantic pairings you mentioned, though I do think it suits any close relationship very well), and while I enjoy all of your writing that I've read, I wanted to thank you particularly for this poem.
