Yes, a stubborn Baggins he is. Do find this one a bit confusing, perhaps, but understand about the confusion between dreams and reality. It's why Elrond determines Frodo is stubborn I don't quite get. But I do love the iamge of Frodo trying to sort it out in his mind and recognizing he'd best beware the voices of Sauron's folks. Author Reply: Yes, dreams can be so confusing! I've dreamed that Aragorn was shaking me to wake up (I was Frodo) but I was in my modern day room in my bed! And he was telling me we had to go because the orcs were coming! LOL! :) Actually... You know, that's the funny thing about writing. Sometimes something can just sound perfect in your head, but on paper it doesn't work. I had had it perfect why he was stubborn, but I forgot and had to try to make something up. I am sincerely sorry for the confusion. Hannon le for your faithful reviewing! Namarie, God Bless, Frodo Baggins

Very interesting and rather scary, scary because I could him experiencing this and the voices seeming to promise one thing but actually meaning another but good that Sam and Elrond are there to help him sort things out. "You hang between the two." And now you can't leave us hanging too! This must continue! Namarie, God bless, Melinyel, Antane :) Author Reply: Hannon le! Yes, I imagine it would be scary. Well, I know it's scary when you hear different "voices" and don't know what you're supposed to do or where to go. I always thought that Frodo would be sort of semiconcious at times, like he could hear some things going on around him. Uh...continue? Well...it was purely the product of a momnet of inspiration. You think I should continue? I'll see what I can do for you. :) Namarie, Melinyel, God Bless, Frodo Baggins P.S. Frodo isn't ignoring you... I've been horrendously busy and so haven't been able to let him write. :)

Wow. My poem inspired that? Wow...:) You conveyed the dreamlike quality very well; it seemed that in some ways Frodo was semiconscious, dream and waking mingling. And I had to laugh at the end! God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: *smiling* It did indeed, milady. :) Yes, I always thought that he would be semiconcious, a foot in both worlds, you might say. Did it seem too cliche? I was worried about that. But then I was just posting for the fun of it. :) I thought you would like the end. :) "That's Mr. Frodo!" But the problem was remembering what I had originally had Frodo be stubborn about. LOL! Namarie! God Bless, Melinyel, YOur Frodo

Oh, how sad! Poor Frodo! *tear* But at least he has Sam with him still, and his cousins, and he knows they love him. God bless, Ellie Author Reply: Yes, he is not alone, even though he has a hole in his heart that will always remain there for her. And if you think about it, she lives on in his heart. :) I'm sorry; I'm a romantic. Namarie! God Bless, Frodo Baggins

I won't repeat what Larner and the queen have already said so well, but it would indeed be nice to find such a soulmate, wouldn't it? Namarie, God bless, Antane :) Author Reply: Yes. *dreamy look in eyes* THis story was inspired, though by what I won't say for the whole world to hear. :/ I have always enjoyed thinking that Frodo had at least fallen in love once. It wouldn't seem natural for him not to. Hannon le for the review. Namarie! Im mil le! God Bless, Frodo Baggins

The one who understood, who shared his imagination--that one would be dear to him, I think. Author Reply: Yes, people like that are hard to come by. I was sad to kill her, but as Frodo never married in the book, I had to. I felt bad for Frodo. :( Frodo found his true love, and none can take her place, even when she is not phyically there. They will be reunited Author Reply: Oops! Darn computers! This technology thing definitely has it's glitches! :) As I was saying, they will be reunited in the Presence of Iluvatar, where they will spend eternity together. :) Namarie! In the book Pippin sings this song. It is part of a walking song that's a good deal more cheerful in context than it comes out in the film. But the interweaving of the movie version with Pippin's memories is beautiful. Author Reply: Yes, Pippin sings this song. The one I used was the movie version because it is more wistful and I love that song. I sing it to my little brother when he can't sleep. :) It has a lovely tune. Hannon le for the review! Namarie! Oh, Frodo! That's so sad. But so real. Poor Frodo-I'm sorry, too. He would have been a wonderful father, I know, and Lily was so blessed; for when Frodo loved, he loved for ever. God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: Hannon le. I was just inspired to write this. I know why, but I won't post my reasons on the internet. Aragorn should consider himself lucky Frodo told him of that. I know that Frodo would have made an excellent father. I have always wanted to explore that avenue. Maybe I will; after all, Lily is AU, and I could "resurrect" her...I don't know. I've got too much on my plate right now to think that far ahead. But she will make her appearence in FOTR. :) Namarie! Im mil le, God BLess, Frodo Baggins

Btw-Harrowcat... I don't know who found the words, but I found them in part of a poem in HoME, and I think it made it to the actual book, as a poem in FOTR while Sam Frodo and Pippin are walking to Crickhollow. Just thought that was interesting. Author Reply: I know this was addressed to Harrowcat, but I found it intriquing as well. I looked it up in the book. YEs, it was written by Tolkein (Bilbo in the story) and sung by Frodo ( I think), but Billy Boyd or Howard Shore or both redid the words and invented the tune. SO my credits still stand, since I used the movie version. Thanks for the info! Namarie! God Bless, Frodo Baggins

This was very good! I liked the way you tied the song in with when Pippin was younger, and how he felt about it then. Lovely! God bless, Ellie Author Reply: Hannon le hannon le hannon le!! I loved writing this. I thought it was a good idea - I'm glad everyone else thought so as well. Namarie! GOd Bless, Frodo Baggins
