Shire Yule  by Dreamflower 7 Review(s)
Kaylee ArafinwielReviewed Chapter: 25 on 10/26/2011
I wonder if hobbit lads and lasses (those that Have Their Letters, anyway!) learn these carols out of a songbook? *Grin* I love your songs!

*wonders if this one has a tune yet*

Author Reply: In my head it does have its own tune, though I do not have it set down or recorded anywhere!

A very uplifting, inspiring song! I should really apply this to my own life. Thank you and sorry to be so late in getting to it. Happy Yule!

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: Happy Yule to you as well, dear! and thanks for the kind words. I try to add at least one new "Shire Yule carol" every year.

I can so imagine hobbits singing this song! It's so festive and upbeat!

Author Reply: Thank you! I wanted something kind of upbeat, sort of "ding-dong-merrily", if you know what I mean!

And when this new year is done,
Well know we finished what wed begun!

That's the right attitude! Always optimistic. I love those hobbits :)

Happy New Year to you and your family!

Author Reply: Hobbits in general do seem to have an optimistic take on life, don't they?

Happy New Year to you and yours as well!

Yes, indeed! Excellent resolutions.

Author Reply: They are, aren't they? Hobbits are very sensible!

I just love the sweet ditties you write! I still love to think and dream about hobbits, and your wonderful poetry is an ever-lovely reminder of how much I love Hobbits.

A true delight -- wishing you a most Joyous New Year!

Author Reply: I'm so glad!

I wish you all the best for the coming year as well, dear!
