Hello Gwynnyd, that was brilliant! Loved it - especially the end: 'Spider webs are sticky.' Hahaha! Lovely snapshot of the family pre-war! Kara's Aunty :)

Gwynnyd, Until your kind response to my review of Circumstantial Heroes, I had not realized you were the author of Bare Feet and Beer. I love that story so much I have that story linked to favorites and copied in two types of electronic files plus print. I had not read this series of Yule Challenges and enjoyed them all. My Choice is exactly they type of story I enjoy - those early days were full of choices/understandings/misunderstandings for everyone. The war and angst stories fulfill a purpose, but a life is so much more. The great new day when the King returned, changed everything. Again, thank you so very much. I am not a writer, but I am a librarian. Writing is hard work! It is deeply appreciated by those of us who love stories.

One way to deal with boredom, I suppose, with Pippin and Merry, making apple pie beds throughout Imladris. Now, how does an Istar respond to such provocation?

Ah, the process of elimination. Only way to decide, I suppose.

Best leave the small birds alone when they protect their nests from all intruders. The smallest creatures can be the fiercest.

No, Lothiriel, not THAT King after all. And she has already come to love a man with golden hair and blue eyes and an honest, faithful, and capable heart and mind. So right.
