Quite appropriate that Aragorn should comfort Faramir...he's a kind and caring man, king or not. He would never let his new royal position interfere with providing comfort to another. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm glad you found Aragorn's comfort for Faramir fitting.

I really like this. Faramir's sorrow is palpable, and his fears that Boromir suffered. And Aragorn's compassion and servanthood is shown well. Very poignant glimpse of the friendship between Aragorn and Faramir. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm pleased you enjoyed this and it worked for you.

*hugs Faramir* I'm so glad Faramir has his devoted lord, king, and friend to sit by his side and keep him company on this night of all nights. Alas that Boromir was lost, but with his passing, firm bonds of brotherhood were forged between these two Ranger Captains...not just as King and Steward. I'm glad Aragorn can be the father to Faramir he so lacked, as well, caring for him, and that another anniversary will not pass by without Eowyn joining Faramir first. Faramir has lost father and brother, but Aragorn is willing to help him heal and for that I am immensely grateful. I'm sure Boromir is watching from beyond the Circles of Arda, entrusting Faramir's care to Aragorn. This story was lovely indeed and I think it a fitting tribute not just to Boromir but to the relationship between these two scions of the House of Elendil. Thank you for a wonderful fic, Linda. ~Kaylee Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review and kind words. I love to portray Aragorn as the father Faramir always deserved and wanted.I believe Boromir is still watching over Faramir too and would want Aragorn to take care of him.I'm delighted you enjoyed the story.
