I enjoyed this look at pre-LOTR Boromir and Faramir. It’s nice to see them in their element. Thx for writing!

I rejoice she has so good a chaperone. And the Wicked sounds as if he has earned his title honestly enough!

A terrible battle to come, but I believe they will prevail in spite of the odds against them.

Reason enough to be seriously concerned!

With fear comes courage. The men of Gondor are of great oourage; but will it be enough?

Akhbaas seems a little too sure of himself as far as I am concerned. That could very well lead to his undoing. (One can only hope.) I like the way you've brought the Southrons into your story. It gives an insite as to where they might be coming from. I hope Heera survives the battle, although the innocent always suffer the most.

They definitely need the protection of the Valar. There is more that meets the eye on the other side. Their enemy is as determined as they are to win this battle. I dread to see what happens next.

It seems the palantir does not tell Denethor all, even though he thinks it does. The omission of the Mûmakil's presence is serious.

It is, IMHO, so sad that Denethor can’t accept Faramir for the fine young man he is. One son cannot be molded into the image of the other. He will understand in the end and then it will be too late. I can’t help but wonder how the war would have gone if the two brothers had been left to their own devices.

I never realized how much Boromir and Faramir completed each other until I read this chapter. The view from the hilltop sounds amazing. It's a good place for one to regroup and gather their thoughts. I just know I'm going to love reading this story.
