A Long-Expected Wedding  by Fiondil 7 Review(s)

*eyes chapter title* I knew it, there's trouble ahead, isn't it?

Loved that banter, even though I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. And of course, I was right ... *sigh* Poor Aracáno.

The gifts sounded lovely, and I was just relaxing. Then you had to throw in another emergency and cliffhanger ... *glares*

Author Reply: Glad you loved the banter here, Kitty. And Poor Aracánao, indeed, but at least he was around people who understood what he was experiencing and were able to help him through the memory. And I had no choice about the cliffhanger else the chapter would've been way too long. *grin*

Thanks for the review. It's much appreciated.

And another crisis. What were the Valar thinking springing these 3 Reborn on Arafinwe and co at this time. Having a bunch of Reborn together is a volatile mix. Something is bound to happen. I don't think there are enough minders around to keep them all out of trouble. On top of that some of the minders are also Reborn, although they seem by now to have a better handle on themselves.

Author Reply: Hi obsidianj. I'm sure the Valar think they know what they are doing and we will actually learn what is behind the release of these particular Reborn in a later chapter. In the meantime, there's a lot of damage control involved in dealing with any Reborn. *grin* Thanks for reading and reviewing. I really appreciate it.

As usual, your story keeps getting better. I particularly like the chapter headings in this one. Oddly enough, they remind me of some of Leslie Charteris' early Saint books - he used entertaining chapter headings too.

I look forward to Wednesdays a great deal these days - please don't miss any weeks lest I go into withdrawal . I look forward to finding out what all trouble the rest of the shoppers got into.

Author Reply: Hi Rick. I had a lot of fun coming up with the titles, many of which are rather tongue-in-cheek. *grin* I have no intention of missing any weeks, so no fear of going into withdrawal any time soon. I'm glad you are enjoying this story. Thanks for letting me know. I really appreciate it.

The piece they are buying sounds beautiful, and very appropriate. Now to see what the "older" reborns are up to!

Author Reply: I'm glad you think so, Larner. I thought it appropriate myself. As for what the other, if not necessarily older, Reborn are up to.... we'll find out next time. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it very much.

Isuppose it is not easy for Aracano being the youngest. But if he has so much better taste than his brother and father, I am surprised he wasn't picked first! ;-) I suppose he was replaying his death there in the pottery shop. Not fun, I would think - neither for him or his two "minders"!
A nice and quiet chapter - it seems that the real drama with the shopping trip centers around Nolofinwë. I wonder if Tirion will still be standing when whatever-it-is is over. ;-)
And how is Glorfindel going to cope with three newly reborn and drama happening in the vicinity?

Author Reply: Hi Sunny. No, it's not easy for Aracáno on many levels. And the drama, as you will see, will indeed center around Nolofinwë though it won't be his fault. And we'll see how they all cope soon enough. Thanks for reading and reviewing. I appreciate it very much.

The candle holder sounds lovely but what a memory to recall, poor Aracano! I am glad that Glorfindel and Laurendil were able to help him, I think I would want to go home too and I would want my Amme!

Well that is two of the newly Re-born's gifts taken care of now to find out just what Ingwion, Ingalure and Intarion have been up to or not, maybe they are not the cause of the trouble!

Huggs,
Lynda

Author Reply: Hi Lynda. We will find out is happening with the others in the next chapter. And they're Reborn... of course they are the cause of the trouble. LOL! Thanks for reading and reviewing. I much appreciate it.

*yawns* Good morning, Atto. Happy Wednesday. (Although it's not quite 7 AM and I'm *tired*, but we do have to be out of here by 10, so I got up just to read "Wedding"!)

I wasn't disappointed either. This chapter was action-packed, amusing and sad all rolled into one, but if it wasn't, it wouldn't be what I expect from you, Atya. *grin* So I'm glad it was.

I wept for Aracano when he remembered drowning with Elenwe, and I cheered (silently, my Naneth's still sleeping...I think) when they found the bowl with Arafinwe's coronation on it. That's the perfect gift, I love it, I love it.

Now...what are our other Reborn up to? I'll wait until next week to find out, Atto.

Tye-melin!

May your Eruhantale be blessed.

Kaylee

Author Reply: Hi Kaylee. I'm glad you liked this chapter with all its moods. May our Eruhantalë also be blessed. Tye-melin.
