| Oh, oh wee!Sam is ADORABLE! And Ham so Gafferish, and Bilbo so-- Bilbo-ish! I do like the idea that Bilbo has the Gamgees to dinner once a year! How trying for the poor Gaffer, and what fun for the family! Author Reply: My friend who prompted me for this put in the ellipses so that I wouldn't have to actually make Sam eat babies. I, of course, took that as a challenge, and if I could make it cute, well... And yes, I do think that dinner with Mr. Bilbo tried the Gaffer to no end! | |
