Lessons for a Young Hobbit  by Larner 3 Review(s)
LindeleaReviewed Chapter: 1 on 12/2/2011
Ah, I envy Frodo here. To sit at Bilbo's feet (or perhaps his elbow would be more appropriate) and absorb such knowledge.

To hear of Buckland, things he hadn't perhaps even imagined before. ...and he thought he knew Buckland...

Author Reply: It must have been quite the giddy experience for Frodo to study under Bilbo, and to have access to the books Bilbo borrowed from Elrond and all. And he is learning some things about his own land that he probably had not known before!

A is for adorable.

Author Reply: And of course young Frodo was adorable--had to be! Heh!

Well, that's certainly an eye-opener for Frodo, and no mistake! *grin* I can't wait to see what's next! Well, B, I expect, but anyway. *grin* Let's see...B is for Balrog, B is for Boromir (the descendant of Beor? the earlier Gondorian Steward?), B is for Barrow-downs...(*shudder*) Oh and of course, B is for Bilbo Baggins!! And Baranduin/Branda-nin/Brandywine River...and Blanco...and Bucca of the Marish and...okay, Kaylee, that's enough. *pokes self* hehe...

So where do you get the advent calendar prompts, or are you just making up your own?

Kaylee!

Author Reply: The There and Back Again community used to provide Advent prompts, but didn't do so last year. So, I've come up with my own. It's always fun! And B was fun to think of a word for.
