I like your determined Arwen in this chapter, and the idea that athelas gathered by Eldarion would be doubly effective. I enjoyed the quiet and serene ending very much too. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. I'm pleased that you enjoyed this chapter. I wanted to show that Aragorn still liked friendly cats and was fortunate in his wife and son.

How wonderful to see the healing come for him at last! A lovely tale of the friendship between the King of Gondor with the Prince of Ithilien! Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. I'm delighted you enjoyed this story.

Oh, indeed was Faramir a mighty Man in his own right, and worthy is he of his lord's love and respect. She chose well when she accepted him as her husband!

I like your Faramir. He is so a caring, yet also strong man. He never ceases to amaze me with his gentleness but also sharp mind if needed. Great story, poor Aragorn. Eager to know where you will take this. Lai

Yes, I can see it was a very long night for Faramir and Aragorn---those wounds sound terrifically painful! *shudders* Poor Faramir... he's feeling very helpless here, and I can well see why. Out in the wild, with no help at all, and Aragorn feverish and half out of his head... how are they going to get out of this one? I'm very much looking forward to finding out! I really love the fact that even in his pain, Aragorn is solicitous of Faramir's health and is ever the healer. Very lovely, that... he's always so selfless. I'm enjoying this greatly---goodness, they're in sad shape and worrying me a lot! Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. I'm so pleased you are continuing to enjoy this. There is more angst on the way!I love Aragorn's concern for Faramir too.

Oh, Linda, I have been meaning to review this and life has just gotten away from me. But---this weekend I have caught up on my reading some and this is just an awesome h/c story! Wow---such lovely details. And eek---what a horrible thing to happen to Aragorn... I don't think I've read of him suffering from these particular injuries before, and I'm loving it. Yep. And I'm a sucker for Aragorn in pain and groaning and yet trying to be stoic, and this is perfection here. On to the next chapter for me---can't wait! Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm so pleased you are enjoying my story. I'd had it in my head for some time, but was inspired to write it when you posted you wanted to read some h/c on LJ.

It is hard to read this description of Faramir's dogged determination to see his lord brought to safety and help. They must find aid soon, we know. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review.I'm sorry you found this gruelling, but hope it worked. Help will soon be on the way.

Well, it could have been orcs, I suppose. A very serious situation; and a good setup for the story. Wild animals are pretty and necessary to the ecology, but they can be dangerous; and the lynx' power and ferocity is brought home here. Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. It is indeed a serious situation.

The title is certainly perfect for this story! Alas that our beloved Aragorn should be so seriously hurt, and have so little left of his healing supplies to allow for proper treatment. Now, to get him back to Eowyn's care! Author Reply: Many thanks for your much appreciated review. I'm pleased you think the title suits the story.
