Eleventy-one Years: Too Short a Time   by Dreamflower 5 Review(s)
AndreaReviewed Chapter: 20 on 12/7/2012
I'm glad that spring has arrived at last and that Bilbo and his mother will be able to visit Great Smials. That's what hobbits like: to be together with family and have a good time. I hope, Bungo will get at least part of his former strength back so that he can come with them next time.

Lalia is her name? Oh dear ...

Author Reply: Yes, her name is Lalia, and she's young yet...

So glad things are looking up at last! :)

Namarie, God bless, Antane :)

Author Reply: So am I!

Well, things are looking better -- other than the prospect of seeing Lalia, though I suppose Siggy and Chop are a trade-off. And the veggies will be early!

Author Reply: Well, they don't really know Lalia yet (although we do), but Bilbo will be thrilled to see his cousins!

No, they can't know yet just how that Lalia might turn out, of course. Am glad that Bilbo and his mother will be going to see the family, at least.

Author Reply: No, they don't know.

But we do.

What a wonderful story. I'm so relieved that it's spring, and that the crops are coming in and the fish are biting and there's laughter and cheer once again in our beloved Shire.

Author Reply: Yes, the Shire at last is beginning to go back to normal! Of course there are a lot of things that will never be the same.
