The storms of the past have ceased and out of sorrow, sure hope for the future has arrived with young Estel. It's been a great read Lai, and I look forward to your next story.

Author Reply: yes, the worst is over for now, but the peace will not hold for long as we all know. I´m so glad you liked my story, Semmley. Be sure that my next story is already almost done. Thanks for reviewing. Lai

Hi Laikwalasse, I am glad that hope has finally arrived. I have enjoyed your story very much. It was a very emotional coaster and thoroughly enjoyable ride. Can't wait for your next story. LOL Galathil

Author Reply: Hi galathil. I´m glad I could write about a much used theme in a still thrilling way for you. Thank you for leaving a review and letting me know. The next story is already on the way. Hope to see you there. Lai

Imamc, with regards to your statement about Gilraen dying when Aragorn was very young: this is fanon, not canon. For some reason I have never understood, several writers, apparently hating Gilraen, killed her off shortly after she and Aragorn arrived in Imladris when in truth, according to Appendix B, Gilraen dies in the year 3007 at the age of 100. As Appendix B also states that Aragorn was born in the year 2931, that means he was 76 years old when his mother died. I suppose one could say that he was still young by Dúnedain standards since we know he lived to be 210, but it's a bit of a stretch.

Sorry to usurp your review page, Lai, but I wanted to set the record straight about Gilraen. She deserved better than to be killed off by writers for no particular reason other than convenience. Please pass this on to imamc if you would and feel free to delete.

Author Reply: Fiondil, no need to apologize. I´m glad you posted this review. I have paased on your comment. This was very interesting and I do also not understand why many writer hate Gilraen that much and kill her off or do not even mention her. She´s a very interesting character and worth to be told. Thanks for the hint. Lai

That was a really great story. I really enjoyed reading this and I'm happy that everything turned out okay, although I don't think Estel's mother was any help. On the other hand she does die when Aragorn is really young, great story.

Author Reply: thank you so much, Imamc. I´m so glad you liked it, even if the theme is used so often. One small comment however: According to Appendix B, Gilraen dies in the year 3007 at the age of 100. As Appendix B also states that Aragorn was born in the year 2931, that means he was 76 years old when his mother died. Not so really young I would say.
Anyway thank you for your review. I really appreciat it. Lai

So all's well that end's well. Very good. Thanks for a good read.

One little quibble: Aragorn was 2 years old when his father died, according to canon, and at the age of one he wouldn't have been able to talk anyway. Children don't usually begin talking until they're at least 18 months old. Also, at age 2, he's more likely to say "Me Estel". The use of "I" and especially the use of the contraction "I'm" come much later.

Author Reply: you are welcome, Fiondil. I´m glad you liked my story. Thank you so much for the interesting note. I was not aware of that and will correct it in the story. Again thanks for a most appreciated review. Lai

About time! Namo at least had a means of turning them away from their own self-involved grief to one another. And there is a chance now for all three of them to heal.

Author Reply: we all know that they will manage now and what HOPE the Valar will give them - the last chapter will cover that ground. Thanks for reviewing, Larner. Lai

Well at least they were able to get it all out and become reconciled. That's a good thing. Now to see how long the reconciliation lasts. *wink*

Author Reply: yes, thanks to the Valar all seems well again -or? *wink back*
