I already posted a review on fanfiction.net but I guess I just had to write one here too.
All of your fanfics kindled in me the Tolkien fire and I'm rereading all of his works I have and buying the ones I don't have.
I really like all your characters, canons and originals. And the way you are building a world of your own but still remaining faithful to canon and to the original works of Tolkien is incredible.
I really enjoy reading and rereading you again and again.
I hope that you are well,
In my case I will just reread all your fics while I wait for the next chapter ;)
Thank you again for your stories !

I really like this. I am thoroughly enjoying this story. I love Thorongil's character, and the way you show his strength, determination, compassion, and loyalty all at once. I especially love his friendship with Minardil. I love the loyalty and love that they have for each other. I love Minardil as a character as well. He's a great OC, and I love how well developed he his, not just a flat side character. You have a lot of great OC's in this story, and I like how they're written. Great job with this story, I really like it. I think it's got a ton of potential, you should finish it! :)

I hope that we are going to see more of Minardil and Míriel in the future!
Things seem to be getting better, as Jamon has finally had some instructions (and even better, from someone who knows how to teach well) and has found some confidence, Minardil may have started to leave the fate of his company on the battlefield to the past and found more pleasant things to think about, and Thorongil has an important mission in training green recruits up to his standard. It was a good idea to give Thorongil some doubts as to his usefulness in the city, as it is realistic that even he wouldn’t always be patient in doing his duty. It will be interesting to see how the people will react to the final duels! At least it will give everyone something new to talk about, as Minardil thought it would - and most likely annoy Denethor even more.

This is such a wonderful, rich story! I sincerely hope it will eventually be completed...it would be a tragedy if not.

Absolutely delighted to see another chapter. Thank you for posting.
I'm really enjoying how each of Thorongil's skills are slowly being discovered and used, and all with humility from him.
I couldn't help but feel a chill when Aragorn is looking east and thinking of the terror that dwells there.

Ah, finally time to savor this tale!
I rejoice that Thorongil thought to go before the magistrate so as to better help Jamon, and it appears that Minardil has managed to find a beacon of his own to lead him to physical and emotional fulfillment in his attempts to support Jamon's own marriage.
At least Denethor knows now how deeply he is feared by the enemy, which must be both reassuring and capable of raising anxiety.

Canafinwe, I was thrilled to see a continuation of this fabulous story. I was even happier to see you writing again. I hope your pleasure in writing equals my pleasure in reading your words. So very glad to see you are back. Best wishes.

Thank you so much! I kept checking every other day lately in hope for a new chapter... vibrations must have reached you finally! ☺
I enjoyed Minardils reaction to the „wrong sister“ very much. I love these intertwining little sidesteps of yours. Looking forward to its unfolding.
Jamon on the other hand appears a little to bold in his way to deliver unexpected success to his Captain General. As proud as he finally may be to have gained that knowledge after all.
Anyway – can´t wait to read more…

Seems like Thorongil's teachings to Jarmon were successful. But Denethor needs to be more careful in what he asks. If the prisoner does not talk or tells fairy tales, he will blame Jarmon and that is patently wrong.
