| So beautiful chapters, both sweet and bitter. I had tears in my eyes for Frodo with his little lamp and Aragorn when he was late for the ship.But he felt the straight road within him it seems. Well he has a bit of the elves about him from uncle Elros.Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you🎆🎉 Author Reply: With Elrond as his ever-so-great uncle and foster father and Elros as his ancestor he definitely had a strong Elvish strain in his blood, I'm certain. | I begin to sympathize with Denethor for having to parent a kid of Faramir's imagination and persistence. We know how important both qualities will be in his development and maturity; and the young Faramir is well written here. Love the ending! Author Reply: For Faramir to be so like him but more willing to let his heart lead him must have been both wonderful and frightening. Am so glad you liked the ending--it makes me so happy!
