| Hi, I don't normally leave reviews, but as I was rereading this chapter I got thinking about Morwen and what role she might play in future parts of the story. Maybe she could be a love interest for Glorfindel and what ends up stopping him from fading? I love Fiondil's universe and it has changed how I look at the rest of Tolkien's world. | This chapter brought home why I was relieved to read everything before was a nightmare. Being back in the normal story time feels like coming home. It feels very comfortable. Elf summer camp, that should be fun. Also the 2 new students for next semester. Having another elf applying to elf academy as student although the web site is framed with Sindarin writings is intriguing. Is she afraid that this is all a hoax? Which it is in a sense, but not the elvish. It will be an interesting new semester. I just hope they sort out Glorfindel by then. His "fading" is troublesome. | |

| Well more recruits, from the Valar that is! And one of them is living near where Amroth was which is also near where Gareth and Gwyn hid the Simirial. (My spell checker want to make Amroth a mammouth!) And she is known to the Rivendell crew. More and more interesting. I do hope Gorfi agrees to the regression. We would also like to find out who is taking control from Lord Irmo. A good balance having a nice mundane chapter before we hit high speed again. (Well, I'm fairly sure we'll hit high speed again soon.) | |

| Now I understand why Glorfindel was so upset by Turgon's appearance. Vorondur is right: the Life Oath is an idiotic practice. And poor Nell, being restricted by her parents' antiquated ideas! Elf Summer Camp, eh? Daeron really has the best ideas. After all, he was the one to get them to Elf Academy to begin with! Somehow I can't really wrap my head around the idea of Lindir having a daughter, though I don't know why. Perhaps because I write him as an eternal child. In any case, more Elves in Wiseman should be interesting. Especially those who've spent their lives among Mortals. And just who might the British bloke be? Questions, questions... | |
