| Thank you for posting this. I always wondered about Gwyn and Gareth's earlier lives as I just couldn't see them working the land for centuries, so I knew thy must have had a military career. I hope you're feeling much better soon. | |

| Splendid chapter! Reading this, and having revisited other Fiondil stories, I must ask - is there anything he didn't know/couldn't do? Mediaeval history, languages (Tolkien and real world), SCA, mythologies Tolkien and other, ribbon embroidery (sorry, couldn't resist ;-) you name it. I don't know, and (kind of) don't want to know, how finished Fiondil left these stories. If youall are working from rough drafts or outlines you are doing a wonderful job of staying in character (Fiondil's) and continuing to develop his characters and plot lines. Just saying! | Aha! So, Elen is most likely the one able to tell what they wish to know, although I wouldn't put it past this "priest" to know, too, but to insist on keeping the knowledge to himself to drive these uncomfortable beings away as well. As a strategy, I'd guess it ain't gonna work. | |

| Hope you are feeling better! I don't mind the chapter going up today instead of yesterday - I barely noticed because I had such a busy day then. Today I needed something to perk me up. (I think we'll all need it, after today, no matter who wins. I wish we could have Gwyn or Gareth for President. Sigh.) Anyway, it seems the brothers' adventure is getting interesting. So, Welsh Elves are they? Well, indeed :D But they aren't demons or soulless or...if there's anyone soulless in this chapter, I deem it to be the priest. What is his game?
