| Ooh, I love this! Such great use of the way Tolkien portrays water as carrying messages in his mythology. Poignant but lovely image of Frodo too. Thanks! Author Reply: Thank you. With patrons such as Osse and Uinen, Frodo should always get at least some word of those he left behind, at least. And I love Tolkien's intimation that water of all elements most clearly holds echoes of the Music of Creation within it. | |
