| A terrible event to watch, even as he has come to appreciate what is being done, and how the very walls of the city have cooperated to destroy the enemy. But Ulmo loves Cirdan, while Osse and Uinen will combine their wills to bring him to the remaining fleet. I would be surprised if Ereinion were not weeping at the sacrifice of the place that has sheltered him for so long. Author Reply: The Fall of the Falas alwayss hit me hard when reading the Silm... a couple of lines and yet so devastating that only a handful survived. I wanted to explore how that must have felt.
