Sons of Fellowship  by Conquistadora 34 Review(s)

I always feel a little weird after I finish a book or a story that I enjoyed... I guess - half relieved/half nostalgic. The ending was just perfect, it couldn't have been better. I loved it this fiction and I would like to thank Elenora for recomending it to me and also you for writing it.
I wish you tons of luck with school and I hope you write some real books in the future (if you haven't already). It was a pleasure to read it! :)

I've been there before; I guess it all depends on what I was reading. :) I do plan to be an author/historian, so we'll see what bunny bites after I finish my history major. A novel around Queen Isabel the Crusader Queen sounds promising. But even then I probably won't be able to resist dropping in to play with the Elves now and again. ;)

This one just screams for a sequel, Coriel. Wiping his mouth on his sleeve after how many minutes? Brilliant writing all the way through the story and a wonderful plot. This definitely ranks as one of my favorite post-quest stories.

Wow, I'm flattered! The sequel may have to wait a while, but I'll consider it. :)

That ending was just priceless!!! I think it was a good few moments before I could pick myself off the floor and type up this review.
Another absolutely splendid story under your belt and I thank you for it. (Can't wait for the next one!) You characterised everyone so perfectly and this will always be on my favourites list. Thank you!!!

Glad you liked it! The response of the readers here has been amazing, and if it weren't for y'all this probably wouldn't have gotten past Rohan. So, thank *you*!

Well done, Coriel. I very much enjoyed reading this story. You have quite a talent and I thank you for sharing it with us. I look forward to the continuation of "We Were young Once" as time allows. :)

Blessings,
Ithildin *(

"As time allows" is right. :) But I'm giving it my best shot! I hadn't read WWYO since I posted it so long ago, and it entertained me all night yesterday. :D So that will be how I employ my spare time between my literature assignment and studying for the grammar diagnostic. (I hear most people flunk that, but I'd rather not have the extra class.) Thanks for reading!

This has been an excellent story, Coriel... well worth the time to read it. I am sorry to see it end, and hope that you will share your talent with us again in the future. Good luck at school, I am sure you will do extremely well!

I hope so! My parents are wanting me to earn more scholarships. :)
I'll try to drop in as often as I can. All this has been invaluable practice in writing in general, and now I hear that I can probably get an on-campus job in something called the Writing Lab editing other students' work and giving composition tips. Sounds worth looking into. :) Thanks again for reading!

Oh, heavens. :) I needed that ending after the day I've had...Nicely ended and nicely written. I've always wondered what that set of meetings would have been like, and I think you created a detailed and somewhat humorous version of dwarf culture..

Author Reply:
It was the best I could do. ;) Dwarves remain essentially a mystery to me. Never could make Gloin behave, but they'll deal with him in their own good time. Glad I could brighten your day! It did me some good too, finishing this monster.

Author Reply:
I've always wanted a monkey. I've heard some people keep those things in Brazil, but we have to make due with a cat right now. ;) Thanks for reading!

Bravo, bravo. Take a bow and this bunch of flowers. Take another bow. Wonderful story, wonderful vision. You know how I have loved this, but I say again, thank you. You did good.
Now back to the homework so you can think up another epic.

*Thank you, thank you.* ^_^ Right; when I get tired of the antics of Agamemnon, Paris, and Aphrodite (which is quite often), I slip back to the computer to play with Thranduil, who holds much more of my affection. Thankfully I've always been a Reading Comprehension whiz. I'll have the assignment done in plenty of time. ;)

good story. I seem to be attached to Scatha. You had a great, humorous ending.

Coriel-
I am so sad to see this story end. I liked the rather lighthearted last line. I do hope you write more but I also appreciate your honesty regarding the possibility that you will be too busy. Good luck with everything!

Author Reply:
I imagine I will be VERY busy for the next four years and beyond. But I will try to keep the writing going in what spare time I can find. This story nearly drowned me, but we found the end at last! Time for new projects. ;)
As always, thanks for reading! The reader/reviewers made all the difference in the world here.
