I've read this story a number of times and I'm ashamed I haven't reviewed before. It's sweet, touching and funny. I especially loved this line:
"At no point in our confrontation do I recall Sauron breaking into song," Aragorn groaned.

You handled the delivery of the song and the reaction very well, making it moving but without being sentimental. I enjoyed the story very much.

Author Reply: Thank you so much! What a joy to know that the older stories are still being read and enjoyed. And you highlighted one of my very favorite lines.

That was unbelievably CUTE! I loved the poem, and how all these honoured characters are constantly joking with each other over their experiences, as hobbits would. It was just superb. *beams*

Author Reply: Thank you so much! I'm thrilled that folks are still discovering and enjoying the older stories. I had a wonderful time writing this.

What a wonderful poem! There was a sweet poignancy to it that was very Tokienesque - I loved the words " The living light of Westernesse."

Author Reply: I'm so happy you enjoyed Pippin's "song" -- he and I worked very hard on it! Thank you so much for your review.

Author Reply: Hi, Giu! Glad you liked this one! There isn't currently a sequel to "Cormallen", but I sure enjoyed writing this. That Pippin can really come up with some unexpectedly wonderful moments.

The line about no animal, person, pub or blade of grass going without it's own song was my favourite line in this whole story - laughed and laughed - great job.

I like to see the light hearted banter between the hobbits and Aragorn - I am glad to see that becoming King does not alter the way he interacts with each of them.

Author Reply: You picked one of *my* favorite lines, as well! I'm so happy that I could make you laugh. Thanks so much, Jules.

Delightful, and very enjoyable, with good bits of humor thrown in. Magnificent.
