Glad to see the color and life had returned to Esme's face. It's good too that she's not too shocked with the sweet reality. Poor Fatty, though. :) Well, don't worry, I guess, for everything is fine now. It's a sweet story indedd, GW!

Poor Esme. It's bad enough to hear that your son passed away. Not to mention the fact that the body wasn't found.

Merry did promise to bring something back for Pippin, didn’t he? I’d forgotten about that! "How would you like a dog, Pip?" Hahahahehe! Perfect ending to a great story! The reunions were very touching and true to the individual characters. And now we know that Merry gets his relentless teasing from that mean old Saradoc! ;-) You can bet I’ll be on the lookout for any more stories from you. Great job, and thank you! Author Reply: I hope you will keep reading them as you do such a lovely job of finding the spelling errors in them. You find them, I correct them and then everyone has a story that is much easier to read! A good system. Thank you again.

A wonderful, wonderful ending!! This is an exciting and heart wrenching story. I just loved it!! I like the way that the reader can tell Saradoc is actually rather proud of Pippin, even thought he can't say so. And Pippin thinking perhaps he's seeing Merry because he (Pip) had died is too precious. Then his having to ask Merry if Merry was dead. All so very well done. Pearl Took Author Reply: Thank you so much! I am glad that Saradoc came off correctly in that last chapter. I suspected that he would have been proud of Pippin's efforts, but then I also suspected that he could come out and say so due to his position as Master of Buckland and the slightly unethical way that Pippin managed things. LOL Thank you for reading and for the lovely review. I look forward to more chapters of your stories. (hint)

Poor, Merry all upset over thinking his mum was upset and then wanting to set out immediately! Frodo is very wise in the ways of his cousins it seems! I loved this story, it was an interesting thing, to portray the everyone's grief over loosing Merry! Thank you! Author Reply: In a way, Merry got to see just how important he really is to everyone that he loves in this story. He knows how upset they would be if anything ever happened to him now. Glad you took the time to read this and leave me nice reviews. It is very much appreciated!

So what comes next? Surely you have another little bunny that's mature enough by now? :) Again, I enjoyed this story very much. But I just know Puddles will be spoiled by that Took! :D Keep up the good work, and I'll be back! God Bless Author Reply: Working on getting a few of the bunnies ready to poke their little heads out, but I think I may take a week or so off and just read other people's stories for a bit. As to Puddles, she may just turn up again in a future story as I am rather attached to her now. Take care and thanks again.

Poor, poor Fatty. It seems that whenever something needs telling and no one wants to tell it, Fatty gets picked. :) I'm glad Merry's back with his family now. But I wish they would send someone for Sam! :) Author Reply: Fredegar is so good natured and wants to help so desperately that he gets stuck with a lot of the dirty work. I am just glad that I was able to use him in this one as I think he should be in more fictions. Thanks for reading.

I'm glad to see that Esme won't be in such a terrible state when Merry finally gets to see her. But I also can't help but wish that Frodo was taller than Merry so that he can keep control of him. :) I enjoyed seeing Doc and Esme begin the healing process. And I also want to know Sara's reaction to Pippin's job these days. :) Author Reply: I thought that Merry's mother would try to pull herself together a bit for Saradoc if for no other reason and I wanted to show a bit of her strength as well as her grief. As to Saradoc's reaction to Pippin's recent job, you will be getting that. Hope it lives up to expectations.

I loved this story; I'm sorry to see it end! LOL..nine kinds of a fool? Never heard that one before--I like it! I am glad that Saradoc and Esme got their son back. It must be a terrible feeling to lose your child not once, but twice. And Pippin, still being Pippin--he's always so cute! I liked how you wrote in Fredegar's interactions. Freddie is often overlooked (and I'm guilty of it), but he was very much a part of their little group. Hope to see another story from you soon! Thank *you* for writing and sharing your stories! Take care. Pippinfan Author Reply: Thank you for the encouragement and the reviews. Never heard "nine kinds of a fool?" must be a local saying. Hope you are busy writing something.....can't wait. It´s over! That kind of made me sad, as it was such a lovely story. And now they all are happy and Merry is home! I wonder though, how did Rosie take this message from Merry that he was gone. She probably wad glad to be rid of her trying patient? :) I hope there is another story coming soon! Author Reply: You know, this one almost had two or three more chapters as I tend to go on way too long, but I thought it best to end it there. I regret not tying up loose ends like Rosie's reaction and Sam and Beralos returning with the supplies, oh and would have loved to have written a chapter with Pippin and that pup, but I figuredd I'd quit before it became longer than the actual Tolkien novel. LOL Thanks for the reviews and for reading.
