| Merry's right, it is a funny situation. Glad Pippin was able to laugh, he seems very depressed. Author Reply: Yes, Pip is in a spot of trouble at present, but Merry is feeling a bit better at this point as he can see the hunor in all of it. He did get Pippin to relax a bit at least for a while. | |

| And now Sam has entered the mix! This is certainly going to end up being a very interesting story! Glad to see that Pippin knows he had messed things up with Diamond - hopefully that means he will fix it up. You're very mean, you know. Hinting at what Estella has found out, but not telling. So mean! (Oh, and one thing I meant to pick you up on earlier - not sure if anyone has yet. You used "Creek hollow" instead of "Crickhollow" as the name for the house in Buckland. Just letting you know :D) Author Reply: PF beat you to the Creek Hollow/Crickhollow mistake already and it has been fixed, but thanks for watching out for me. As to Pip, hope to clear up his motives soon, but he really does know he's messed up on this one, he is just having trouble getting out of it. | What a great twist to the story. Pippin's bewilderment is so well-depicted, and how nice to see Frodo again, looking well and happy! Author Reply: Thank you. I am glad that Pip and Frodo came off well. I think suddenly being 16 again would confuse anyone! LOL And any time I can include Frodo and have him pre quest, I enjoy doing so. | |

| This is so cool--reminds me of the movie Big (very good movie). Pippin gets to rediscover the kid in him while Merry just enjoys the ride (so like him!). It will also be interesting to see what Estella finds in/on the Thain's desk... Pippinfan Author Reply: I love that movie and I hadn't thought of that! LOL I am doing the hobbit version of a Tom Hanks film! Now, if that isn't original I don't know what is. Thanks for the review. | |

| Argh! This is just getting more and more interesting. I didn't realise that you were going to cut back to what Estella and Diamond were up to - now I hope that you will get back to them soon, so that I can find out what Peregrin's done wrong! I've got my fingers crossed for a very happy ending to this story. You're good at those! Please continue soon, I'm starting to wonder who else is going to show up! Author Reply: I thought it best to keep the ladies busy while Merry and Pippin were off where-ever, besides you never know what they might find. | Poor Pip! No drink or smoking! Oh well, seeing Frodo and Doc will make up for it im sure. To be sixteen again, on second thought, never mind! Great story so far! Im enjoying the twists! Author Reply: Everyone enjoys seeing old friends! But, no way would I want to be 16 again. I think Pippin's reaction to that is pretty much what mine would be. | Pippin seriously needs a vacation if he is even thinking about growing up again so he can do a better job of being Thain! Author Reply: Well, in a tiny way, I think Pippin is getting a vacation at the moment. Lets just hope he doesn't bore his friends to death with his slides when he returns from his trip. | |
