| Good grief-I never thought I would say this but Legolas is annoying! How does Ihtilden put up with him? I would have given him a spanking he wouldn't have forgotten his entire life. The cheek! I do hope a night's sleep improves his temperment, because the camping trip is so amusing. I especially love the trees. The whole bond thing really gets to me. I hope you update soon! Keep writing! Author Reply: Legolas was indeed annoying. He's just at a bad age. And he wants to be grown up, to have Ithilden respect him, or maybe, to be Annael with an ada and a nana. His own life seems hard and childish to him. | |

| Aww, and I was enjoying the bonding they were having too! Legolas must understand that the reason Ithilden scolded him for the jump was because he nearly pissed his pants with panic! Heh, some alliteration there. Now, is the snake thing the prank? And now it ruined it the whole day! *Shakes head* Impossible elflings and bossy commanders. Although I think that Ithilden took it a little too far when he spanked Legolas. At least he didn't slap the poor kid across the face. But then Legolas shouldn't have put it in Ithilden's pack, because he's rather the 'I-don't-take-practical-jokes-too-well' kind of guy, whereas Eilian is more like that. But anyhoo! More shirtless Ithilden! Oh, I could just drool... Glad you put that in there, cause it would be wrong for me to ogle at a an elf that's eleven in human years, and if I did, I'd be a creep. But yay! Glad this chapter got posted so fast! Love the quick updates, I don't know how you do it! Update asap! ~nessie~ Author Reply: Yes, the snake thing is the practical joke. The day was a mixed affair anyway. They kept being close and then annoying one another. I think that Ithilden has a temper that he usually manages to keep under control, but Legolas got way under his skin. Naked swimming *adult* elves are good! | |

| Oh dear! Ithilden and Legolas are not happy campers! ;) Neither is treating the other in the best way - Ithilden is being far too bossy, and Legolas is reacting childishly. The stunt with the snake was silly. And Ithilden lost his cool and smacked Legolas! The trouble is, I think he deserved it. What other fun and games do you have in store for them? Jay Author Reply: As I was writing this, I could see from each of their point of view. As you say, neither one is being particularly easy to be around. They WANT to get along. They just don't have it in them to do it today. | |
