Wonderful! You managed to finish it with the same excitement that started it! Bravo!

The obstacle course that they had to go through to get to the jewel was great! Very Indiana Jones, as was the snake line! "A snake," Pippin complained. "Why did it have to be a snake?"

I loved the description of Pippin blinding the statue and then when he holds the stone how was just lit up-

Also thought the people change bit was very good!

I loved how you had Frodo come to Pip in a dream! And then in true Gandalf fashion refuse to answer his question! LOL!

Another great chapter, I could see the army and the mumakils! Amazing!

Glad to know the fate of the pirates at last, and the elf adds a whole new level to this adventure!

I really enjoyed the flashback at the end-

Great stuff!

The scene where Pippin claims to have failed Gandalf was so very touching! You are such an amazing writer!

Can't wait to see what's next- Going on to read!

The return of Tempest!

I really enjoyed this chapter, the description of Alatar was amazing and I loved the line, "He wondered what sort of amusements the Royal Family was enjoying these days... "- I laughed for a good 5 minutes! Going on to read more! Great Job!

"I do not doubt it," said Morelin with a laugh. "You, Peregrin Took, shall never be too old for adventure."

I hope this means that sometime soon, you will write another grand adventure for the Falcon and his friends. As you may have guessed, I enjoyed this very much. Keep writing.

The blessing of Iset for Pippin and Bilbo's words were my favorite parts of this chapter. I shall be sorry to see this story end as I have enjoyed every word of it. You are a wonderful writer. I hope that you are planning more tales in the very near future.

There are no words. The image of Pippin alight with the power and the golw of the jewel was wonderful. You have out-down yourself on this one. I held my breath the entire time. The death of the Blue Wizard was very fitting indeed! Somewhere I am sure that Gandalf was very proud of his little Took. I know I was.

Am I decieved or have you read Terry Pratchett? I thought of Discworld when I read :

(that turned out to be a giant Tortoise whose shell was overgrown with jungle, was one particularly suspect tale--but he enjoyed them all. ) It was a wonderful surprise in an amazing chapter.

I am wondering about Leah and Brogar now a bit. More romance since she can't hope to have Pippin as Diamond haunts his thoughts. Well, on to read more!

Author Reply: Actually I stole that idea from the Arabian Nights through various pop-culture filters! Morelin and his pirates have tons of fun.
