Still wonderful! The part where Pippin leaves the crown for the dead queen was very moving. You are an amazing story-teller. Author Reply: Thank you! I read once a tragic fanfic about Tar-Miriel running to the Hallow of Eru to plead for Numenor one last time, and it stuck with me.

The Far Side of the World Interesting title. This is Lord of the Rings, Master and Commander, Pirates of the Caribbean, Arabian Nights, all rolled into one and I am loving it! Keep the adventure coming. It is all a bit like being locked in a library with lots of wonderful books. Maybe I have been taken captive by pirates?

Eowyn is wonderful in this. I love the sword-play. Very good descriptions of the matches and I enjoyed how both Pippin and Eowyn refused to back down.

I have never read anything like this and I am really enjoying it. I like the idea of Pippin setting out on his own adventure. I also enjoyed Merry's support of it. He will miss him, but he won't try to stop him. It shows how much the characters have grown since their beginnings. I go now to read more of this very entertaining tale. Author Reply: Thank you! I have just come across your stories on SoA (I'm newish here) and I am looking forward to reading them -- anything with Pippin in it is good reading for me. This is the story I've always wanted to read, since reading LOTR/seeing the movies (and Billy Boyd's Pippin). Author Reply: I forgot to add -- I always wanted to read it, but I couldn't find it, so I tried to write it.
