Patience with Patients  by shirebound 30 Review(s)

*claps both hands over mouth to muffle the shrieks and giggles* Oh, thank you so much for a desperately needed laugh this morning (and I do not exaggerate!). I might be able to face the day with a halfway decent attitude now!

"Now, off to bed, there's a good wizard." LOL This was delightful, and poor Celeborn! A whiny Gandalf, complaining about errant horses, greedy hobbits, and looking fat in white (not to mention the online time *snicker*) had to be a little bit irritating! :-) Patient Celeborn...he deserves a medal or something! And the part about the hair..."What is it with you elves...?" hehehehehe I just enjoyed the heck out of this, or couldn't you tell?

THANK YOU, SHIREBOUND!

Author Reply: Wow, thank *you*! I'm so happy to have given you a needed laugh this morning! Those elves and wizards can be so silly, sometimes...

LOL! Gandalf and Celeborn = a disaster waiting to happen. Loved it!

Author Reply: Thanks, Marnie! This was such fun to write!

Janet,

Thanks for the laugh! I imagine Gandalf *would* be rather a--shall we say--trying patient.

Love his comment about Shadowfax and Pippin (working with horses and baing married to a man who eats like a hobbit, I can totally understand his frustration).

You come up with the cutest (and most wonderful) stories!

Author Reply: Thanks, Parker! Poor Gandalf, deprived of his horse and hobbits and ice cream... and internet! Oh, the angst.

Funny. Humorous, I don't know how to stop laughing. Please Carry on with more! Please!
*giggle*
Galimeril ;Dhahahaha

Author Reply: Wow, thank you! So happy to get you giggling! (If you like this type of wackiness, you also might enjoy "Can You Sing, Master Hobbit?")

“I’ll make it myself,” Celeborn assured him. “Maybe I’ll even bring it early.

Oh, yes . . . falling on the floor and LOL . . . gotta have some fun at work. Carry on, woman! Fantastic!

Author Reply: Thank you! Ah, and we thought it was all angst and despair in Middle-earth...

ROFLOL! Bad Istari!

If I were Celeborn, I'd leave to prepare breafast that minute ;D

Author Reply: Hee hee. Glad you enjoyed this! A bit of "the lighter side" of Middle-earth.

*Snork* That was brilliant! Maybe a bit silly, but brilliant.

“But you said I could stay online as long as I wished!” That was the first sentence where I was glad that I had no beverages near at hand.

fliewatuet (still chuckling)

Author Reply: It's fun to be silly once in a while! Glad to get you chuckling.

“Hobbits? Who said I was trying to find them?” The wizard began to get agitated. “I’m trying to locate where that blasted, uppity white horse has disappeared to. Can’t he stay in one place for ten minutes?”

I loved this! What a great ficlet to discover early on a Saturday morning! :)

Author Reply: Glad you had a good time with this. It's fun to take serious characters and find their silly side!

Silly? Not too much--but even better, it had me rolling! Doesn't Celeborn have DSL or is Galadriel's mirror still dial up? Celeborn ought to be thanking his lucky stars that he had the correct ice-cream flavour on hand for Pippin--the little hobbit in notorious for having locked Merry in a closet once or twice for not having it at Brandy Hall. :-)

Author Reply: I definitely think the Elves have DSL (unlike me). Glad you enjoyed this!

A short scene deserves a short review. ;)

You are a wicked girl.
