Delightful! Got a fine pithy chuckle out of that one. Clever use of the nit that Faramir, not Gandalf, spoke that line - I'd forgotten! Love Frodo when he gets angry ... Thanks for sharing! Author Reply: Thanks, naiad! Leave it to a hobbit (or two) to cut a wizard down to size. :D

“I’ll just leave you two alone, shall I?” Haha! Gandalf in trouble, I like that! And after all, he certainly deserves what's coming next! I loved that sentence about the convenience of the Balrog incident ;-) Author Reply: Thanks, Andrea! It's fun to see Gandalf in trouble once in awhile. :D

And trust dear Sam to have the sword ready to toss to his master JUST when it's most wanted. I DO think Gandalf misjudged here! HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE! Author Reply: Mr. "important wizard" has just his match. *grins*

HeeHee...Gandalf's in trouble. '“Where’s that sword?” Frodo muttered, looking around the room. “Here you go, Mr. Frodo,” Sam said calmly. He stood in the doorway, Sting in his hand. He tossed it to Frodo and smiled, pulling the door closed again. “I’ll just leave you two alone, shall I?”' Hee, Sam's smart and knows when to leave. Course, I couldn't blame him, I'd leave too. Author Reply: Good old Sam! Always there when his Mr. Frodo needs him most. :D
