That was simply adorable! I'm still giggling at poor little Pippin! Author Reply: Thanks! Even dh snorked when he read this, and that's high praise coming from him.

"until I've drunk the last drop in the cup, and no more days remain to me"... fine words, indeed! and Bilbo and the goblins....delightful! poor little guy. Outnumbered. Give him another 15-20 years and he won't think lasses are so bad. This is hilarious. Author Reply: Poor Pippin, he's likely to regard lasses with suspicion for some time to come.

You have me just about rolling with this one! Oh, how wonderful! Poor Pippin, stuck with a scene like this one. Estella as the bride, and all the borrowed jewelry.... Lovely laughs here. Author Reply: LOL, it makes me smile to think of it. Glad to see you back! Are your computer woes being sorted out? (Nasty hackers. Should be hung by their thumbs. Permanently.)

Ah, dear--what a thing to happen on her birthday! Love the barrow and the Gaffer's familiar sentiments. Lovely!

The memory of being under the troll must have lingered so. Lovely accomplishment, meeting this challenge.

Sharing the grief of the great Elven lord must have been shocking. Lovely short one, Lindelea.

Oh, Marvelous! Wish I'd seen this one elsewhere! Yes, Rosie knew, and was able to tell Marigold to hearten her. Am so glad Saruman only got a month in the Shire--unprintable word that he'd become! But Sam is back and has hardened--become sterner, like the trees he sees replaced. Lovely!

He was surrounded, and they were seizing him from all sides, and some of them had sharp claws, and he thought for a panicked moment of Bilbo and the goblins. Poor Pippin! *giggles* Author Reply: Poor little lad. Bet it took him a long time to live this one down. Can't you hear Eglantine telling the story over tea...?

Reading and reviewing this again, for it is so marvelously done, Lindelea. The moment when the Ring goes down, the fear and terror when It takes Frodo and then is destroyed anyway.... And the destruction of Mordor felt so very far away by some who loved Pippin best! A marvelous tale. Author Reply: Much belated thanks for stopping and leaving a good word. I don't know what happened, that I don't seem to have seen so many reviews. I don't know if this reply will go to your current email or an old one, but in any event, here's hoping you and yours are keeping well.

Oh! ROTFL! Oh! *wipes eyes*grins* Dana's going to *love* this one!! And what a nice little change from angst! This is adorable--poor Pippin! I love his suspicion and his stubborn defiance, even in the face of being *tied up*! (Oh, yes, Dana will *love* this all right!) Poor little fella! *snicker* It's a good thing though, that Merry didn't tumble to what the lasses had in mind, or he might have attempted the sort of rescue he made Ferdi a few years earlier... Author Reply: Yes, I tried to get a few of Dana's fav themes in. Pippin-and-Estella. Pippin-tied-up. Poor Pip, at least they didn't dress him up in finery!
