| Like Faramir, I assumed that hobbits would have prostitutes too and was delighted by the idea that the cultures could be different. I always like being taken by surprise like that. Sounds like everyone is going to get an education of some sort. | |

| LoL. If I were to copy and paste things I liked out of this story, I would end up re-pasting the enitre thing! What a wonderful romp! (And so wickedly in character!) You had me chuckling and delighted with every line and retort. But there was one line that really got me laughing, instead of just giggling like a moron inside my head, and it was this: 'Frodo nudges his blushing gardener, who seems to be trying to tie himself into a knot.' LoL! I can't wait for chapter two. | |

| Oh Regina, what a wickedly wonderful story! Legolas is so in character with this: “but I cannot imagine reducing an act so sacred to a mere transaction. We of elven kind regard physical love as being more than a mingling of bodies—it is a mingling of spirits.” And then there's Sam: "Frodo nudges his blushing gardener, who seems to be trying to tie himself into a knot." Ah, and Frodo with a "wicked gleam" in his eyes. Love it! Along with everyone else, I eagerly await Chapter 2! | |

| Now this is a different sort of tale! But it's well written and really an enjoyable read - the dialogue flows nicely and true to all the characters. I think you did a good job conveying everyone's reactions - Pippin being a bit lecherous is a nice break from the overly sweet childlike tween that is so common in Hobbit stories. And I'm very glad that you included Legolas' observation that for Elves sex is far more spiritual; a sacred act. That's very in keeping with Tolkien's vision. I'll be interested to see where you go with this. | |

| So far so good! I'm looking forward to the next chapter. Hope that all the hobbits and the dwarf and elf don't drink Faramir under the table; other fine stories to the contrary, I don't believe that he has low tolerance for alcohol.
