Awwww! *smiles hugely* I just love it, Armariel, I love it! Your poetry is amazing; the feelings you convey are so real and vivid. I love the imagery of the treasure boxes and the whole thing is just so wonderful and right! God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: Thanks Dearie! I'm sure it worked because the feelings conveyed here were very much my own--as you've figured out by now! hugs Armariel~~~{~@

This one has me weeping, and I mean that literally, Armariel. I can so see this, just as I have imagined Sam murmuring, over and over, "Oh, my Frodo" as that meeting comes ever and ever closer, and as they each offer the treasure chests of memories to one another, and as Frodo once again knows the great, enduring pleasure of being a Hobbit of the Shire, though he left that Shire so long ago. Thank you for this one. Author Reply: Wow, I love when I have that effect--don't you? You are most welcome Dearie! I admit I cheated a little with this one. I stole a bit from a poem I wrote for my best friend a few years ago as a birthday gift. Decided that poem was a little too feminine in its viewpoint for Sam, however, so I just put in the part about the treasure box. I think this one is better, however: Our Jewels When we meet again it will be like the first time even if we are much older we値l still see with young eyes that penetrate the lacy wall which veils you from my sight. Through that snowy curtain I値l step into your gaze the silver air around us will shiver with delight. Once more we値l walk through innocent grass in a warm and singing wood past yards all wreathed in wonder on paths that kiss our feet. We値l look at each new flower while the lacy curtains dance in the joyful breeze and fairies giggle in the mist. A treasure box we値l open examining every gem holding each up to the light saying, "Do you remember this?" The colors will laugh with us. The day will linger stubbornly like a child that would stay up all night. But if we do not meet again if the day is not to be ours our hearts will still grasp through the lace ignoring the chains and the miles. We値l tend each other痴 flowers and shine on each new bloom stars will continue to twinkle on each hour of our meeting for midnight cannot darken the colors of our jewels.

Oh, how appropriate for Frodo as he has found himself once more, and as he rejoices once more to find life worth living! I'm sorry I don't know that particular hymn--I'll have to seek it out and see if I can find it. Author Reply: Yes, I considered the hymn his ultimate celebration of his new life and wonder at his new-found joy and faith. I wanted to fit it to "Brightest and Best" which has long been one of my favorite carols but it wouldn't quite work that way. Here are the words (Sorry there's no music file, maybe I can make one soon.): Brightest and Best ~~~{~@

How very gentle this one. That Sam might think Frodo would feel bereft and lost is a great grief; and it could also easily be said by Frodo of his beloved Bilbo or even Rosie of her Sam, somewhere that one Yule, lost out there in the fearful wilderness she has heard tell of outside the boundaries of the Shire. Very lovely. Author Reply: Yes, by any of them, surely. I said it myself of my niece one Christmas when she was seemingly lost to us, but she has been found again. Still far away, but now we know where she is and that she will come back again. Thanks bunches! ~~~{~@

Sorry to be replying to this so late! I read the hymn/prayer right away and loved it, esp. the religious parts - I am so glad he got to know his Creator - but didn't want to reply until I heard the music which I am now listening to which is cool too. :) Namarie, God bless, Antane Author Reply: Thanks Dearie, glad it works for you! I thought it was ALL religious parts lol Can't help wondering sometimes if Tolkien envisioned (if that's the right word) music for some of his songs. Seems he envisioned practically everything else, why not that? Unless he was musically impaired, perhaps. hugs Armariel~~~{~@

This is beautiful, both the words and the music. It sounds so like Frodo, too! The music is just perfect; like a hymn, but with a very "Middle-earthish" sound to it. I always love your music. :) God bless, Galadriel Author Reply: Why thank you Dearie! Glad you think it sounds like Frodo. Was really trying hard for that Middle-earthy sound and it wasn't easy. I actually wrote the melody over three times trying to get it just right! hugs Armariel ~~~{~@

I love this one. It is healing, to Frodo, to Boromir, to me. WG Author Reply: Really?? Wow! Thanks for telling me...that makes my whole day! It's one of my own favorites too. Got the idea for this one from a TORn messageboard too, when someone noted Boromir's absence from the reunion of the Fellowship in the movie...and I thought, what if his ghost were to appear there, maybe that's a plotbunny waiting to happen...but it insisted on being a poem instead of a fic. Guess it's a little of both! ~~~{~@

Ah, well, you know, school is evil. ;) That and it's totally dried up my muse. I spent finals week desperately trying to get nine different papers written. *sigh* But thank goodness, I'm now on Christmas break, and recuperating with some much-needed vegetating. ;) Hopefully my muse will return soon, but I will definitely try to at least comment more often. Though I'm strangely gratified to know that someone missed me. ;) Merry Christmas and God bless, Eruanna Author Reply: Ah. Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt and can't get into it any more....So! Yes, missed you lots, preciousss!! I hope your muse comes back soon too! My puter is currently in the hospital with double pneumonia (I'm using my mom's) but hopefully will be out by Tuesday afternoon! Then perhaps my muse will come back too..... Well, vege out while you can! And a happy new year to you too! hugs Armariel~~~{~@
