Twice Twenty  by Dreamflower 13 Review(s)

To repeat myself - what a cruel thing to do to Legolas and Galadriel! Every time they hear the rhythm, they will start singing that dreaded ditty. They will be driven insane. As will any elf who hears them and absorbs it into perfect elven memory!

Pippin doesn't know what he's started here!

Author Reply: No, but face it, Legolas has no one to blame but himself. I am *quite* sure he knew what he was doing when he offered to teach it to the hobbit...

On the other hand, yes, poor Galadriel and those others--not to mention the fact that it will end up being carried over to the West...

Hmm...you know, once that arrives, the Blessed Realm might no longer be so blessed...

LOL! Oh, Dreamflower, that's priceless! That song in Sindarin...LOL! Poor Frodo and Sam and...the rest of them! Hmmm, what does this scene remind me of? :-) Car trips with very bored children, of course. This was just what I needed this morning. God bless,
Galadriel

Of course. That was what caused me to think of the original story the song appeared in. And the trip down the Anduin would have been rather boring as well--but Legolas and Pippin had the foresight to provide themselves with entertainment, LOL!

*big cheesy grin* I think everyone knows that irritating feeling of having the most stupid tune running through their head! But to be able to sing it in two languages must make it ten times worse!

Author Reply: Oh, I'm sure at least ten times worse! LOL!
