LarnerReviewed Chapter: 54 on 1/31/2009
Ah--a perfect reunion for Sam and his Rosie!

Author Reply: I think so too-- how happy they must've been. :)

Already a Ranger watches from the hidden shadows, already set to guard and keep safe....

Lovely.

Author Reply: THank you! I think this was based on a Shirebunny and i'm just glad that it pleases others to read this too. :)

Yes, quite a birthday gift this little Frodo has given Bilbo and his parents and a good many others besides.

Author Reply: I always can kind of relate because my sister was born on my birthday giving many people lots of joy. :)

Considering this is his firstborn and the one child of the brood their Uncle Frodo knew, it's only right he should be a softie regarding her. Heh!

Author Reply: I love fics that explore Sam and Elanor's relationship-- i also wonder how hard it was for Elanor to let Sam pass into the west as his fate dictates. I think this was a great event to capture in fic and glad that you like. :)

I've always been glad Frodo got to see at least one of Sam's children--and to see this wee Elvish Hobbitling must have made him rejoice indeed.

Yes, more beautifuller still indeed!

Author Reply: I think it made him leave more peacefully, knowing that Sam will find his joy and his place in Middle-earth without him.

A joyful homecoming for one who had felt for so long he'd lost his way completely.

Author Reply: I agree-- after all that Frodo has gone through, he deserves all the peace and healing that can possibly be wrought upon him.

Ah, such a wonderful gift to give SlightlyTookish. Pippin at his most Tookish as an infant!

Author Reply: Pippin sure seemed to be a cheerful baby, eh? =)

LarnerReviewed Chapter: 47 on 3/27/2007
A special baby, as all are; and one who needs desperately the love of his parents while he can get it.

Author Reply: Frodo's birth indeed made lots of people happy and was such an influential event too. :)

Gandalf certainly did his best to offer good leadership, and now the Halfling forth does stand indeed.

Author Reply: Gandalf is one of my favorite non-hobbit characters. Certainly he led the Fellowship as best as he could.

Actually, the Hobbits were remarkably hardy compared to Men; but they do appear small and insignificant. Yet look at the great integrity Bilbo showed regarding what OUGHT to have happened with the dragon's treasure trove and in his disposition of the Arkenstone?

Author Reply: I think it was a very hobbity response in not thinking selfishly upon oneself when making great decisions like that. Only hobbits could've used their wits in that fashion and that is why they are heroes of the Third Age. =)
