Good thinking, Aragorn!

I love the old woman--great character!

Author Reply: For some reason I just love crotchety old women. I guess I'll be happy if I ever get to be one.

Whoa! Aragorn is clever, so he's doing all right although plainly trouble lies ahead.

I have to say though that the one I really wanted to see more of was the old woman. I loved the way she recited this impressive verse and then chirps, "There, that's it." LOL.

It wasn't until Aragorn started thinking about Rolly that I could see there might be a connection between the two adventures. I didn't even think of that!

Author Reply: Aragorn is pretty sure he wants to see the old woman again, too. Once he gets himself and Halbarad out of their jam and solves the mystery of the missing heir and all that.

Somewhere in the back of my mind was Mrs. Whatsit from "A Wrinkle in Time."

Hehe. The subconscious is an amazing thing.
