| Elrond sighed again and stood up. “Let us go see what the damage is. I suspect it is grievous.” “Quite,” Gandalf replied cheerfully. “Alas, poor little Greenleaf.” This is fantastic! Gandalf enjoys the prank war as much as Frodo does. And they are right: Let the children play, as long as they can. Never before have a seen a prank aimed at Legolas, with Arwen involved! Poor little Greenleaf, indeed ;-) Author Reply: Gandalf is enjoying himself thoroughly He sees this as some merriment before the peril; something funny to look back to when the times get dark. Arwen is definitely out to get Legolas. I've never seen a prank set between the two of them, either, so I thought I'd write one. I'm having fun . :) | |

| Oh! This is priceless. Fireworks on the 4th of July. Wonderful! Arwen's hand in this little war, I bet. Now, I am a diehard Legolas fan. Have been since I first met him 30 odd years ago. | *still chuckling* Good luck with the move but please make sure that the first thing to go in is the internet connection! Selfish of us or what! Arwen + hobbits = explosive mixture. And Legolas gets caught HAH! And Gandalf as the silent partner in crime - no one could borrow his fireworks without his knowledge surely? But is he being impartial? Gandalf is right, the dangerous stuff will come all too soon but isn't this dangerous prank war a good preparation! Author Reply: Sadly, I've been without internet for a week. I have it back now, though, so a chapter will be up as soon as I have time to sit down and write! Actually, I'm fairly certain that the hobbits did steal the fireworks, but what wizard can't be amused with the fact that they were used to blow up a privy over the Elven Prince of Mirkwood? And yes, the hobbits and Arwen are definitely a dangerous mix. Poor Rivendell. | |
