| Even on re-reading, Faramir and Aragorn's torture always gets to me, especially the part where Fara remembers when Denethor tried to burn him alive. For my part, I never think your stories go above PG13. I'm pretty liberal-minded, but I have never found them to cross the line into what I consider R territory. Not like I'd stop reading them if you did! I have included my email, I never realized that I never left it in a review on that other site. I am very lazy about logging-in and leaving "signed" reviews over there. Author Reply: I found the torture scenes hard to write both here and in Faramir's prison scene as I am fond of my characters ! I toned it down here a little.I'm honoured you should re read the story Thanks for your thoughts on the ratings and your e mail which I have put in my book.There have been times I have wanted to contact you over some interesting point you have raised. | |

| Oh this was - well I won't say fun exactly - but gripping enough for me to sneak of and read the whole thing. And the sequel . . . only to find it wasn't yet finished! Very enjoyable way to spend a grey day. Author Reply: Thank you so much for your kind review.I'm delighted you found it gripping .The characters rarely have fun in my tales, I fear ! | i love this chapter it looks to me a very interesting begining for a story, i'm afraid aragorn is going to have a very dificult travel with those two, but i hope it will be worth the effort, i will love to read more of this, but i think it's a pity arwen doesn't go with them, the contrast between both couples in the travel would have been very interesting, it's an opinion anyway, very personal because i like aragorn-arwen stories, i will be waiting for the next chapter. mirax Author Reply: Thank you so much for your kind review.I hope you will continue to enjoy the story despite Arwen's absence.Being pregnant it would be too dangerous for her to travel. | Glad to see this on here now. Misunderstandings and miscommunication are the bane of our existence as human beings. But I still hate seeing these two denying themselves the physical expression of their love for so long! Author Reply: Thank you so much for being the first to review this story as I know you have seen it before !I would imagine ceremonial beddings to be very off putting to a nervous young couple ! It always worries me that in the book Eowyn changes her affections so swiftly and wanted to explore just how genuine her love for Faramir was in this story.I think by the time they do get together their love has become far more than just "shadow and thought" | |
