| He said dragons tell you just enough truth to make you believe everything they say. You stop listenin’ to yourself and start listenin’ to them. You can’t listen to dragons, that’s all. You can’t look ’em in the eye. I love these words from Sam. They're so perfect for what is happening with Frodo and the Ring. I also find the explanation for Frodo's headache- the transition between Lothlorien and the 'real world'- so plausible and fascinating. I'm very much looking forward to the continuation of this! | I can't remember having read this before but I will now and it is a great start. It reminds me that I have a Frodo somewhere that needs healing, lol. Maybe if I hurry yours and mine will "meet" at the same beach, lol? ;) I love the detail in this and the precatuions about taking away anything that glimmer and be quiet. I am excited to see how this will develop! :D | |
