Hi Lia,

What a great end to a beautiful story! I don't know how u manage to find the time with 3 girls to run around after as well as working, but u do and I for one thank you.

My favourite part is still where Eowyn and Lotti get attacked by the Southlanders.

Can't wait to see more stories from you, you write so engagingly.

Alatriel.

Author Reply: Hello Alatriel,
I only have to look around my flat to see where I find the time to write - I economize on tidying up... (But I call it setting priorities)

I've started work on the next story - an alternative Eomer/Lothiriel scenario - but I think it will be a while until I start publishing. Tonight, though, it's that dead sea creature that I promised.

Thanks for your review!

Emerging from that room - it must have been a strain. I should think they would both rather pull the pillows over their heads and pretend the outside world didn't exist. For a while, anyway.

Lothiriel is getting pretty good at tormenting Eomer - only she knows she's doing it rather more now! And Eomer enjoyed picking on Amrothos, poor hung-over prince.

Lovely symbolism of the falcons flying free - Lothiriel has indeed found her place as Eomer's queen.

Lovely story. I hope you have plans to tell us more about Lothiriel's life in Rohan. I'm sure there will be at least some fireworks on the way!

Author Reply: Hello Bodkin,
don't feel too sorry for Eomer and Lothiriel, after all they have the second longest night of the year coming up. Lothiriel is getting more aware of her power, but then he rather likes it. Like Eowyn said, his life is going to be interesting from now on (especially if I should decide to write a sequel - nothing like a sadistic author to add a bit of excitement to your life).

You'll get another glimpse of how Amrothos is feeling next weekend.

Thanks for your many reviews on this story, I've always had a good chuckle over them!

Lovely story, Lia! I enjoyed all of it - the adventure, the romance, annoying brothers and all. Thanks for sharing it. I will gladly read more adventures of Eomer and Lothiriel.

Author Reply: Hello Nilmandra,
I have to say I really enjoyed writing it, even though it turned out to be a lot longer and lot more work than I had initially reckoned on. Thanks for your encouragement and letting me post on this site, I think it's great and has such nice users.

well, i am lost for words! clearly you never are, but i'm so sad that this wonderful story has come to an end. do you ever post on fanfiction.net? it's a shame to think that this would not have the widest audience possible.

Author Reply: Hello eyes of sky,
Thanks for your review. I do post this story under the same name on fanfiction.net, but thanks for the suggestion.

all good things come to an end. I wish it could've gone on forever! I really look forward to a sequel. As for whish chapter I liked the best, I can't seem to pick! I loved the humor in your writing, you have real talent!
Galimeril ;D

Author Reply: Hello Galimeril,
if you liked the humour, you'll like the dead sea creature that's coming up next weekend. I don't wish it could have gone on forever - I need a rest now!

Thanks for your review.

I LOVED THIS!!!

Really, this story was a million times better than anything I could have found on the shelves of Barnes and Noble or any other bookstore! Your characterizations were deep and complex, your glimpse into their thoughts and feelings so detailed that they came to life for me so vividly that I was drawn into your world and forgot all about what was going on around me! I love your Eomer and Lothoriel, and your view of the new queen is the best I've seen and the most suited for Eomer. And your Eomer is exactly how I pictured him from the books and the movies. And I've already told you how much I adore your Eowyn and Faramir....now if only I could draw some more stories out of your concerning the southern family......

I can't pick a favorite part--from the clandestine meeting on the balcony to the archery contest, to the stay in Ithilien and the fight by the lake, to Eomer's botching the meeting in the stable and the scenes in Dol Amroth and the wedding, I love them all! I couldn't wait for more and fell in love with your characters all the more with each new chapter. You have such great talent! Really, If I could have my way, we'd be beating down the doors of the tolkein estate holders and demanding that this be published, it was that good!

And it's funny how you described Amrothos and Elphir, because my best friend is a younger daughter and she has 3 older brothers, with 2 exactly as you described these two characters, making the story even more fun for us. She's been dying to read this as I've told her all about it, but refused to do so until you had it complete, so she's going to be thrilled!

Really, anything you want to write, I'll be thrilled to read, and hope you continue to delight us with more fables from your vast well of talent! My only request is that somewhere down the line, I get to see more of Eowyn and Faramir, along with Lothoriel...maybe a story with a threat to the eastern holdings of rohan and the northeastern holdings of Ithilien? Maybe even more fun, Eomer and Faramir are captured and must fight their way home, while their wives are left leading their respective homelands in what may become a war? that would be an awesome test for Lothoriel! But no matter what, like I said before, anything you write I'm sure I'll enjoy. Thanks again for this wonderful story!

Author Reply: Hello BM,
thank you so much for your review! Bringing her characters to life is of course what every writer aims for, so I'm pleased I succeeded. I've been thinking about them for so long now that they seem almost alive to me, like old friends. Like I said, I have a couple of alternative Eomer/Lothiriel scenarios in mind, but they are mostly just for fun, this Lothiriel is the one I feel is the kind of woman the Eomer from the books would fall in love with.

The problem with Eowyn and Faramir is that they live so far away and I was going to base the next plot in Rohan as this story was mostly set in Gondor. Hmmm...I'll have to think about your ideas some more! It's all very vague in my mind at the moment anyway. Thanks for your suggestions, though.

By the way, I feel sorry for your friend if she has brothers like Amrothos and Elphir! Please say hello to her from me.
