Oh my! This is like a knife to the heart! Poor Pippin! It's so very plaintive and evocative. His fearful question about Frodo and Sam, wondering if they are alive and together. I love the repitition "Where has Merry got to in all this?" This is just gorgeous! I hope to come back to the rest of these later. You are a marvelous poet. | |
