What an absolutely adorable scene! I do love teasing, affectionate hobbity stories.

:D

Author Reply: Hannon le! I love writing them!

*shrieks and rolls with laughter* Oh, oh, you are so funny! I can hardly type, and you've got me in tears...of laughter. Oh, that's hilarious, and all the more so because I know what *really* happened. It's so ironic that you've done this, though because, well, you'll have to wait and see. I do have one objection though. *Ahem* Sam did *not* give up that easily! Frodo had to hold him down for like five minutes, and there was a very short wrestling match involved, was there not? LOL! But that's okay. Excellent rendering of this unforgettable...event!
God bless,
Galadriel

Author Reply: *chuckling*Oh, yes, I know that Sam didn't give up that easily, but I didn't want to lose my readers and my brain wasn't all there. :) Frodo did have to hold him down, but what's important is who won, right? *giggles with glee* Oh great! I can't stand those, "Wait and see"'s. Anyway, as I have no choice, I'll go and prepare....oh, something. But you'll have to wait and see!

Definitely an moment of fate, when two who will come to mean so much to one another look on one another for the first time.

Author Reply: Yes, I thought it would be interesting to explore what these two friends thought of one another at the first meeting. :) Hannon le for your review.

Awww, this is sweet. Dear Frodo, half shy, half eager to go on adventures! :) How like one of his age and disposition! I like how you did this moment from both POVs.

I can see your writing improving, even since your first story, and I can already tell you that you are one of the very gifted authors on this site. There is just something about your writing, a depth, a realness, if you will, that I can't describe. You have that in common with Larner and a very few others, though of course each style is different. Thanks so much for posting here and letting us ordinary writers enjoy it! :) I'm teasing, but I'm serious about being gifted.
God bless,
Galadriel

Author Reply: Oh, my dear, Hannon le! I don't quite know what to say to your compliments that have really boosted my courage. I wish my mom could know, but due to the content, she wouldn't be interested in reading it. She says it's a waste of time, among other things, but I think that it is helping me with grammer and writing skills. But thank you for your compliments on how my writing has improved. And you are not an ordinary writer! You're a wonderful writer! We just don't have the same style. Oh, this has turned into a fanfic itself, and my time to do school is waning...Namarie, mellon nin!
God Bless,
Frodo Baggins

Had to come back and read this one again-I love it that much! My favourite is the one in Mordor. Now I want to write something about Sam and Frodo in Mordor! Hmmm...maybe I'll work on your birthday present...or A Gardener's Tale...:) Can't wait to see more! But I do know how hard it can be-it's sooo hard to catch a minute to write and post these days!
God bless,
Galadriel

Author Reply: Well, dear, I'm glad you love it enough to read it again. And I'm glad that I've given you ideas for a story. Can't wait to see it! Yes, it is hard to catch a minute, but right now i'm working very hard on posting chapter two of the Forging of the Ringbearer. Namarie, mellon nin!
God BLess,
Frodo Baggins

Never totally alone....

Author Reply: No, never totally alone. He always has someone, especially Iluvatar, even though this story does not state it.

Very interesting, my dear! Love the idea of watching the birds and the stars.
