| Ahhhh....the sound of rain upon a roof--or just the sound of rain, period. So soothing, relaxing. :-) It's so nice to see Frodo turning and mumbling in his sleep; the hobbis are healing up nicely under your--I mean, Aragorn's hand. Wouldn't that be lovely for Aragorn to wake up smothered between hobbits? And that insatiable Pippin...just wonderful! | “Mmm,” Frodo murmured. He smiled and turned over, his hand seeking out Sam’s. “Rain, Sam…” Wonderful! From what Frodo and Sam have been through the sound of rain must be like music to them! And the image of Merry, fallen asleep from exhaustion, unwillingly, I bet, but he still tries to protect his cousins. Although, now it is Pippin, holding *his* hand. I love that imagine! | That story about Lady Eowyn and Faramir was the one Aragorn might have enjoyed hearing. LOL Too bad Pip chose that moment to fall asleep. I like the image of all of them sleeping through the storm along with Strider. Author Reply: Maybe Pip will talk in his sleep!
