And that I'm feeling amazingly chipper already only adds to it. :) Such a lovely awakening for Frodo, and I could almost hear the men applauding for Pippin and imagine them listening to the joyous shouts from across camp. | Yes, you have enticed me from my reading "fast" (yes, am online, but it is "all business" sad to say) once again. I bless your short chapters. I love the symmetry of beginning and ending with glad shouts. Legolas does understand hobbits! "Start with the kitchen", indeed! This was priceless: “That,” Aragorn told him, “is an Elf of Mirkwood, and a young Knight of Gondor.” Nice gapfiller, and imagining of what Frodo's wakening might have been like. Pippin stared at his cousin in shock. “That,” Aragorn told him, “is an Elf of Mirkwood, and a young Knight of Gondor.” LOL I love that!! “You see, Frodo?” Pippin laughed. "You didn't miss a thing!
