| What an incredible story Antane! Your vivid descriptions and intricate storyline had me truly feeling all of Frodo's despair, hopelessness, and depression... WOW!! I have always thought that when a writer can evoke emotions in their audience...that the reader is "experiencing" a piece/story, rather than just merely reading it...well, that is indeed a sign of a great author! I love your ending twist too! You are truly a Master of Angst!! I have always adored Frodo, so the author's who have devote their time, and written any stories about him have my undying gratitude! I hope you carry on with this theme...I don't think I have read any of your works before...now I must rush off and look up any other stories you have written! | Well you are certainly right about the 'Tons' of angst! I liked the way that you made the switch at the end. Is this the end or will there be more? Author Reply: You mean you want *more* angst than this? :) Well, this little nightmare is done, but that's another coming at some point if I can get it done that will be just about the same level but it would have really happened so it's going to be an AU of my favorite Two Towers movie scene. | Goodness girl! What happened to you, bitten by the agnst bug or what? No, seriously though, this was one heck of a tale. Geez, to think all that could of happened and for a second I was confused. I didn't know weither it was for real or a dream. Being locked up in Minas Tirith, away from his cousin's and Sam and life. To be cut off from everything and everyone. But, thankfully, it was all just a dream to throw him off. It was meant to throw him off, wasn't it? A nightmare sent by that evil Ring! *glares at Ring* Author Reply: Well, you know after all the joy of Love Letters and Going Home, I just had to go off the deep end the other direction! :) Actually I wrote this over a year ago and it was even more angsty then but I decided I just couldn't do that to my - our - Frodo. I'm glad you were confused whether it was dream or reality - that's what I wanted. Yes, it was meant to throw him off, but of course, that stubborn Baggins wasn't about to be thrown off was he? :) | |
