Thats when I can sit in bed and read some and your stories makes me forget my worries a while . Im an old longtimenReader of this story and your other one. | Thranduil in the bath couldn't leave my thoughts today!!!! This story is really wonderfully written!!!! It would be great if Gwaelas could find a wife but if it is possible to find a girl who would be understanding enough to share his time with the king? Somehow it is difficult for me to imagine that he would leave Thranduil. Love political background. I still don't like Mithrandir. He is just too arrogant and doesn't sometimes show Thranduil the proper respect as a head of the realm. It was awesome to read about another duel of wills between Thranduil and Sauron. Hopefully they will get some peace for a while. Do you think Legolas will fall in love again? You are a brilliant story-teller!!!It is past midnight and I am still reading but every second is worth it!!! Stay safe!!! This update is the best thing for me today!!! Author Reply: Thank you! | Conquistadora! I cannot tell you how happy I am when I see your name on top of the storylist for it means the return of a story that I truly love. At this point the characters are like old friends returning for another visit! This passage made me laugh with remembrance. >Thranduil blinked, torn between triumph and indignation. “Indeed?” he said at >last, his voice thick with irony. “How shocking.” As I recall Thranduil's information at another council in times past was looked upon askance and so was he. There is so much in this story that I love. The sheer scope of it is amazing! I am so happy that Gandalf has chased the Necromancer away and giving Thranduil a little peace after a thousand years. >"I had the distinct impression that I caught him unawares. It seems his will >was entirely trained elsewhere at the time.” Again I almost snorted by my tea as I was reading thinking! "Yes, well. I wonder why that was!" | Of course the longer meeting with the king the better :D but this chapter greatly shows that life just goes on and links some threads. Before the army marches to the war they have to be prepared well or they will just lose. This chapter shows Thranduil as a king who cares about his people's lives and doesn't wait idly as a miracle or Valar appear to save him but he is the one who thinks, cares and saves people. He is a host of his realm and he really cares. Love this aspect of his. It is not trivial because it spares lives. | |

| I was in the seventh heaven when I saw the notification about update!!! Thranduil is so clever to use additional reinforcement for the breast plate and it could create additional income for the realm if they decided to share this innovation. Being presented to such ancient King had to be a bit scary experience for the king of Men. I tried to imagine how I could feel in such occasion and even if I knew the king was friendly I would definitely be scared because it is difficult to comprehend how many ages he survived and what opponents he faced and still he was alive. It is so sad Amroth died. I really love your idea that he was Celeborn's son. I wonder if Legolas tries to find someone to fall in love with or he waits to get to Valinor and perhaps reunite with his ex fiancee. He must be a bit disappointed that they postponed the wedding because they could face together difficulties and now he surely wonders if perhaps she builds her life with someone else. You are a WONDERFUL WRITER. I couldn't be happier with your update!!!! Author Reply: Thank you! | Conquistadora! Quite the whirlwind of history in this chapter. I really enjoyed the mention of the peoples who will become the Rohirrim! Tragic what happened Amroth and his love. Thranduil must feel besieged at times and as ever he seeks to protect his people. I continue to love this story so look forward to see where you take it. Stay safe mellon nin!
