Pip-napped!  by Dreamflower 11 Review(s)
Grey WondererReviewed Chapter: 1 on 9/13/2006
OK, is it wrong that I kinda liked Tiny and Slouch? LOL I couldn't help myself. They were so hopeless out of their element and when Tiny cried over his dirty pub, well, I just couldn't help it. I think you have a couple of entertaining OCs there. I enjoyed this very much.

Author Reply: *grin* Actually, I kind of like them too. They are so clueless and bumbling. I think of them as rather like the characters in "Dumb and Dumber" or the two crooks in "Home Alone" or like Roscoe and Boss Hogg from "Dukes of Hazzard". They aren't very bright, and they are lazy and dishonest--but they wouldn't really *hurt* anyone on purpose. They are buddies, and devoted to each other, because--really: who *else* would have anything to do with either of them? And Tiny, well, he never would have made a go of that inn, but he's convinced himself for eight years that it wasn't *his* fault--it was the hobbits, because they refused to eat there! When Merry and Pippin show up again, it must have seemed like a sign to him, LOL!
