| Now how did I miss this? Wow, I love them appearing to the lads' parents like that. And they made some excellent points, they really did. I like the idea that perhaps they've realized now why the other members of the Fellowship did certain things--after all, it might have been quicker simply to carry the hobbits, instead of letting them stumble along up Caradhras or jump across chasms on their own. And I hope that Marrin and Clary will be all right in their little hole! Author Reply: Thank you, Dreamflower :-) I figured Marrin and Clary deserved to meet the beings who got their sons involved in all of this. It is always a hard thing to have to go our own way, make our own mistakes, or live with the results of our own decisions. | |
