| What a surprisingly poignant tale. The painful truth of ‘real’ with enemies who not only wish our death, but will also consume your very flesh, had to be a gruesome new reality. How devastating to learn within your own heart the anguish felt by another caused by your actions. Yet you told this story with great sensitivity and compassion, where is could easily have been a study in bitter vengeance. Thank you, Ellie, for a well-told tale. Author Reply: There were many difficult realities for both Glorfindel and his father to accept. The understanding at the end was something that they both could only have reached once they saw things from the vantage point of being a father. I'm glad you enjoyed this story.
